Marcy, VACATION, Granddaughters

Thanks Jeff. I really didn't think anyone was reading this, but........
Wow, October 4 seems like a long time ago. We have adopted another dog. Her name is Marcy. She was already named when we got her. We felt she had been through enough drama and stress so we didn't change her name. We adopted her from the Athens County Shelter on December 22. She had been dropped off in the middle of the night with no info. Can you imagine doing that!! She had been in a foster home for awhile too. I discovered her on petfinder. There are thousands of dogs, all breeds on there. I would recommend doing this if you are looking for a pet. Anyway, we were told she weighed about 60 pounds and was about 2 years old. After taking her to the vet, she weighed 85 pounds. She has gained about 10 pounds since Dec and now weighs 95 pounds. Yes, she is a big girl. What a sweetheart she is. She likes Ronnie best!! I have told her, "I am the one who found you, you should like ME best!!" She doesn't listen to that though. She is a very good dog. We have tried to figure out WHY someone would drop her off like that, but we haven't found anything wrong yet. We couldn't have asked for a better member of the family.
Well, just got back from a girly girl vacation. First time for that. 7 days with 7 women at the Outerbanks. Now that was fun. We had a five bedroom house with a heated pool and hot tub. The beach was across the street, and lots of shopping. What more could a girl ask for. The weather could have been better, but if it rained, we shopped. Go figure. I found the cutest purse with dogs on it at the OuterBARKS store. That was fun. The very best part, housing was FREE!! One of the girls step dad owns the house and let us stay there free. What a nice man. By the way, the house is for sale if anyone is interested. Only one million 2.
Well, school is almost out. Ashley announced that she is a senior now. How did that happen. Madison will be at the middle school next year. Oh my! Next year is Mandy's last year at Stevenson. Regan will be in the 1st grade at Garfield. We will have a child at each school. No babies anymore. Does anyone have one I could borrow for awhile. Maybe a couple of hours. Just long enough to rock to sleep.
For those of you who don't know, Rob has moved back home from Colorado. He was there a little over a year. That was long enough. He had to leave some furniture behind. Only brought home what he could get in his car. Does anyone have a bed? He will have to go back out some time to get the rest of his things. It will be had since he works you know. He may never see it again.
OK, I guess that's it for now.
Stop over and see Marcy some time. She loves company.
